CHICKEN SPRING ROLL

INGREDIENTS
  • Chicken (Boneless) - 250 g
  • Carrot - 4 -5 
  • Cabbage - 1/4
  • Onion - 2 big onions
  • Garlic Paste  - 2 tsp
  • Green Chilly - 2 - 3
  • Soya Sauce
  • Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt
  • Oil
PROCEDURE

Shredded Chicken
Take the chicken in a bowl and add some salt, black peper powder and ginger - garlic paste(optional) to it and mix it. Marinate and keep it aside for 10 minutes. Now take a pan and add some oil and cook the chicken for around 20 minutes. Then place the chicken in a plate and shred it. Chicken for the filling is ready.

Filling
Take a pan and add some oil. Add chopped onions to the pan and saute it followed by green chillies, garlic paste and some salt to taste. saute it until the color changes. Now add finely chopped carrots and cabbage to the pan and saute it well fo some time. Now add 2 tsp of black pepper powder and 2 tsp followed by 2 tsp of soya sauce. Now the saute the mix well. To this, add the shredded chicken and mix it wel for some minutes and then turn off the stove. The filling is ready.

Spring Roll Recipe
Take a bowl and add 2 cups of maida, 1 tsp salt and some oil. Mix it well. Now by gradually adding the water, make it into a smooth dough and keep it aside or 15 minutes. The take the dough and splt it into equal number of balls. Take a ball and make it into a thin sheet followed by others. Now cook each sheet for 20 seconds and keep it aside. Sheets are ready.

Now take a thin sheet, add some filling and wrap it. Do the same for all the sheets.
Now shallow fry all the sheets and the chicken sring rolls are ready.

HOME MADE VANILLA ICE CREAM

INGREDIENTS

  • Milk - 500 ml
  • Wheat Powder - 4 TBSP
  • Sugar
  • Vanilla esssence


PROCEDURE

Take a small bowl and add 4 tbsp of wheat to it followed by 1/2 cup of milk and stir it so that we get a smooth paste without any lumps and keep it aside.

Now take a pan and add milk to it. Add sugar as per needed (1/2 cup). Stir it until it bols in medium flame. When the milk gets boiled add the paste of wheat and milk to the pan. Make sure to stir the paste before adding to the milk so as to avoid formation of lumps. Keep stiring the mix for approx. 7 minutes in low flame until it gets thickens.
Now allow the mixture to cool down. Once it gets cool, grind the mix in a grinder for 5 minutes and pour it to an airtight bowl covered with aluminium foil and keep it in refrgerator for 2 hours.

After 2 hrs, take the mix and grind it again with 2 - 3 drops of vanilla essence for 5 minutes. Then move it to the same airtight bowl and refrigerate it for 8 minutes so as to get it set.

And the vanilla icecream is ready!

RED SAUCE FOR PASTA AND SPAGETTI ( Indian Style)

Here is the recipe for making the red sauce which can be used with pasta and spagetti.

INGREDIENTS

  • Garlic - 1 garlic finely  chopped
  • Onion - 2 big onions finely chopped
  • Tomato - 4 (bigger in size)
  • Green Chilly - 2 - 3
  • Oil
  • Tomato Sauce
  • Chilly Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Coriander Powder
  • Garam Masala
  • Black Pepper Powder
  • Salt 

PROCEDURE

Initially boil the tomatoes and keep it aside in cold water for some time after which you can peel it off and grind three of them in a grinder so as to get a tomato paste.

Take a sauce pan and add some oil. Add the chopped garlic to the oil and saute until it gets brownish and then add the chopped onions to the same and saute it until it gets well cooked and turns to light brownish in color. Along with this add salt as per needed.
Now add green chillies chopped into 2- 3 pieces followed by a little (1/2 tsp) of chilly powder, turmric powder and coriander powder. Saute it for some time until the fragrance of the spices are recognised. Now add 1 tsp of black pepper powder ( amount depends ) to the mix. To this add the one tomato that is boiled by cutting it into fine pieces.
Now after sauting the mix for some time, add the tomato paste to it and stir it for some time. Add 2 - 3 tbps of tomato sauce to the same and ad some water. let it boil and thickens. Finally add some garam masala to the sauce and saute it for some more time.

The Red Sauce is ready to be used with penne pasta or spagetti.

PANEER ROLL

INGREDIENTS
  • Paneer - 1 Packet
  • Onion  - 2 Big onions
  • Tomato - 2-3
  • Capsicum - 2
  • Cumin
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Chilly Powder
  • Coriander Powder
  • Turmeric Powder
  • Soya Sauce
  • Chilly Sauce
  • Tomato Sauce
METHOD

  • Take a pan and add some oil. Now add some amount of cumin to the oil and wait for some time.
  • Now add choped onions and saute it. Add tomato followed by capsicum to the pan and saute until its cooked.
  • Add salt accordingly followed by ginger-garlic paste, chilly powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder.
  • Now add litle amount of soya sauce, tomato sauce and chilly sauce to the pan and mix it thoroughly.
  • Take another pan and pour some ghee into it. Add paneer which is cut into small pieces and fry it. Wait until it turns little golden brown.
  • Now add these fried paneer pieces into the other pan and mix it thoroughly.
  • Now the stuffing is ready.
  • Take a chappati, apply ghee and mayonisse and add the stuffing. Finnaly roll it and the Paneer Roll is ready to be served.

CHOCLATE BURFI

Ingredients:


  1. 1 Cup sugar
  2. 1/2 Cup water
  3. 1/4 Cup cocoa powder
  4. 4 tbsp of ghee
  5. 1 Cup milk powder
Procedure:

Take a pan and add 1 cup of sugar into it. Now add 1/2 cup of water and stir until it boils. After the sugar syrup is ready, add 1 cup of milk powder and stir it thoroughly so as not to make lumps. When it takes a thick form, add 1/4 cup cocoa powder into it and stir it continuosly for some time and also add 4 tbsp of ghee along with it. Now mix it well until it thickens and move it into a tray with ghee spread. Decorate it with cashews and cut it into square pieces when it is set and the Choclate Burfi is ready!

BRIGHTENING FACE MASK


Requirements:
  1. 1 tbsp gram flour.
  2. 1/2 tbsp curd
  3. 1 tsp turmeric powder.
  4. 1tsp honey.
  5. 1 tsp lemon juice.
Preparation:
  • Take a small bowl and mix all the requirements.
  • Make the mixture into a paste(if needed add some water).
  • Apply the mixture gently on your face and massage in circular motions.
  • Leave it for 20 minutes and then rinse it off in ice water.

RAVA LADDOO

Ingredients:
  1. 1Cup Milk.
  2. 3/4 Cup of grated coconut.
  3. 1/2 Cup Sugar.
  4. 1/2 Cup Rava.
Preparation:
Take a pan, add 1 cup of milk into it and wait till it boils.
When the milk boils, add the 3/4 cup of grated coconut along with 1/2 cup sugar and stir it continuously until it starts thickening.
Now add  1/2 cup of rava into the pan and mix it thoroughly until it reaches a state where it can be made into balls.
Take small amounts of mixture and make balls and decorate it with cashews.
Rava Laddoo is ready!
